What are some things you can do as an employee to add value to your company?

Sometimes it’s easy to believe that by showing up adds value to the company’s bottomline, but sadly that’s not enough. An employee who adds value shows up and takes the initiative to solve problems, over exceed the expectations in their job title while maintaining a positive attitude. If you think an employer will just keep you around and you’ve added no value, you are sadly mistaken. It’s several people who are willing to execute and drive results and be able to show their production in quantifiable data. So today, take a moment to reflect on what you are currently doing each day while on your job and the ways you have added value. Take some time and put together a list of strategies to increase the value there so that you can increase your skills to be able to move into promotional opportunities there or at another company.
